Goals - 2013

Welcome 2013!

This year there will be no resolutions here--only Goals that are attainable and flexible - as life is sometimes "interesting."

These goals will be divided by month and will be evaluated at the end of the month and adjusted to this crazy chaotic life we all lead.  I may not met them all- that is why there is room for adjustment!  lol

January:

Personal: Read one fiction book a month.  Kingdom's Dawn by Chuck Black
Read one non fiction book a month.
Recommit to the Vintage Remedies Family Herbalist Course.!!!!!!!!!

Health:    15 minutes a day on the bike.
Commit to more fermented foods in the family diet- encourage grown kids to try them too!

Home:     Deep clean the entryway and put trim up where the door was repaired.
                Deep clean Utility Room.
                Deep clean lower bathroom.

Pantry:    Inventory and organize pantry after the Christmas rush.
Time permitting can some ground beef- we have power outages and sadly they are more frequent

Goats:     Inventory Health and First Aid supplies and order what is needed.
Finish building stalls in the new Goat Shed.
Keep a real close eye on  Fanny as she is scheduled to kid at the end of the month.
Keep a good eye out for Crystal as her due date is not known. She is a new addition.
Encourage ds and wife to build new milking stand--they did a great job on the outdoor
goat hay feeder for my Christmas present.

Chickens: Build new nest boxes.

Garden: Inventory seeds left over from last year.
Order new seeds for this year.
Plan for additional space for the herb garden.
               Decide where to plant

Special Occasions: Make one Christmas gift a month for the next Christmas.
Start planning for dd Senior Recital at the University.
Start putting ideas together for a combined graduation/get together this late spring-early summer.
