Welcome 2013!
This year there will be no resolutions here--only Goals that are attainable and flexible - as life is sometimes "interesting."These goals will be divided by month and will be evaluated at the end of the month and adjusted to this crazy chaotic life we all lead. I may not met them all- that is why there is room for adjustment! lol
January:
Personal: Read one fiction book a month. Kingdom's Dawn by Chuck BlackRead one non fiction book a month.
Recommit to the Vintage Remedies Family Herbalist Course.!!!!!!!!!
Health: 15 minutes a day on the bike.
Commit to more fermented foods in the family diet- encourage grown kids to try them too!
Home: Deep clean the entryway and put trim up where the door was repaired.
Deep clean Utility Room.
Deep clean lower bathroom.
Pantry: Inventory and organize pantry after the Christmas rush.
Time permitting can some ground beef- we have power outages and sadly they are more frequent
Goats: Inventory Health and First Aid supplies and order what is needed.
Finish building stalls in the new Goat Shed.
Keep a real close eye on Fanny as she is scheduled to kid at the end of the month.
Keep a good eye out for Crystal as her due date is not known. She is a new addition.
Encourage ds and wife to build new milking stand--they did a great job on the outdoor
goat hay feeder for my Christmas present.
Chickens: Build new nest boxes.
Garden: Inventory seeds left over from last year.
Order new seeds for this year.
Plan for additional space for the herb garden.
Decide where to plant
Special Occasions: Make one Christmas gift a month for the next Christmas.
Start planning for dd Senior Recital at the University.
Start putting ideas together for a combined graduation/get together this late spring-early summer.
Maybe an old fashioned buffet with red and white checked tabled cloths, hay bale seats, etc.
